The Mishmar is a structured night seder created for boys
in grades 5th through 9th, with a focus on giving each boy a warm,
positive, and meaningful connection to Torah and to a dedicated
rebbe.
Each night, the boys learn in small groups with a rebbe who gets
to know them personally, encourages their growth, and becomes a steady,
approachable presence in their lives.
The program combines serious learning with positive incentives and a
strong sense of belonging. Snacks are provided, Thursday night features
hot food, and boys can earn points toward rewards from Amazon or
ZB Bookstore.
Special highlights throughout the year include Chanukah and Purim
parties, an end-of-year Melava Malka, and an end-of-year trip.
With five locations across the Tri-State area, The Mishmar is designed
to give boys a consistent place to learn, connect, and grow — while
giving parents the confidence that their sons are spending their
evenings in a healthy, uplifting Torah environment.
